Sunset on Blaauwberg Hill

BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL as numbers are limited, and entry to the Reserve is in convoy.

There will firstly be a walk focusing on the Battle of Blaauwberg of 1806 that took place on the Eastern section of the Blaauwberg Nature Reserve. It will be an overview of the Battle, and you will be shown the route taken by the British 1st Brigade on their march from Melkbosstrand into position on the day.

The group will then drive up to Blaauwberg Hill, from where you will be able to watch the sunset over Table Mountain at 18h09.
