The location of the BCA, within
the borders of the Cape
Metropolitan Area (CMA), ensures
easy access to thousands of

The Environmental Education (EE)
Centre at Eerstesteen in the BCA
was launched on 19 February
2004. A cabin was donated by the
broadcast company, ESPN, who
used it for broadcasting during
the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Part
of the capital budget granted by
the City to the BCA for
2003/2004, was used to renovate
the cabin. |

The Environmental Education
Centre is a user-friendly,
functional centre, complete with
access for disabled persons. It
can accommodate 50 learners for
